Anna Chesney
Anna is a Senior Clinical Psychologist who is skilled in Adult ADHD and Gender Dysphoria assessments. Anna worked for Child and Family CDHB outpatient mental health services for 10 years and has been working privately since 2019. Anna is competent in treating adolescents and young adults with a particular interest in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, and mood dysregulation. Anna has skills in assisting families regarding complex child behaviour and mental health concerns. Anna utilises the frameworks of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mentalisation Based Therapy, Metacognitive therapies, and EMDR.
Availability:
I am available for readiness assessments/Affirmative Gender-Informed assessments. I charge $1250 for Gender Dysphoria assessments.
I am currently full for ADHD Assessments. I will open my bookings on 1st July, at which stage I will offer assessments for late July and August. I charge $1650 for ADHD assessments, with an additional fee of $300 if a diagnosis of ASD is included.
I am not currently taking on any further therapy clients. I charge $195 for 50-minute private therapy sessions.
