Nicole Schoombie
Nicole Schoombie is a Filipino American Health Psychologist who specialises in helping individuals cope with physical health challenges while fostering positive health behaviours. She is passionate about helping people improve their well-being using evidence-based strategies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Meaning-Centred Psychotherapy.

Long and complex hospital admissions, including admissions requiring intensive care
Life-changing accidents/injuries, including burns and spinal cord injuries
Coping with physical symptoms such as persistent pain and/or itch
Chronic health conditions such as cancer and skin problems (e.g. eczema, psoriasis)
Nicole also offers professional supervision for medical professionals. She has expertise in helping Asian, Filipino, and BIPOC clients regarding cultural identity and well-being.
